Post Halloween Picture Blitz

As I sit here and recover from last nights orgy of candy and pie goodness, I am trying to figure out a way to redeem today. I feel hungover from kit kat overload. The only things that are bringing me around to the living are giants cupS of coffee and the 9/1/90 Jerry Garcia Band live at shoreline DVD.

Last night was a good time. I love Halloween, and I love traditions.

I love making new traditions. Last night was the third year in a row that we gathered with friends at our fellowship to hand out candy to neighborhood families. More people came by this year than ever before, and I think a new tradition is growing. I really hope next year to have the energy to put into a real Halloween party, complete with good treat bags (fellowship advertising at work!), games like bobbing for apples, and a Halloween story time.

Having a reason to don a new costume is always a good thing in my book. My family dressed up as usual, but I never did catch a picture of the little tyke in his giraffe costume.

Here are some of our photos from the evening, enjoy!

And this pic is actually from Saturday night, but it is the only one with the husband in his Abe Lincoln get up I have!
