Wishy, washy, wishy, washy, wishy, washy me....

Sorry for the bad reference to children's music you never heard of, but I am talking about politics. And not candidates, but me.

I am having a really hard time making a choice for the upcoming presidential campaign, in additions to other elections as well.

I have mentioned before that I am considering taking a green ballot in the primaries. I voted green for governor last year, and that vote helped to make the Green Party an official Illinois state party. It is tempting to take that ballot again on Super Duper Tuesday, mostly as a revolutionary response to phrases like "Super Duper" when used in the electoral process.

I have a good friend that is a big supporter of the Kent Mesplay campaign.

But the democrats... who would I support? I have a big list of reasons not to vote for any of them, and any choice I make in the end will be a purely emotional one I think.

And as much of a Clinton fan as I used to be, years ago, I think I just cannot go there. But yet, some days...I do.

I like Edwards, I really do. When I hear him speak, he really takes me back to some of the things that first excited me about politics and got me on board with my parent's liberal ideologies.

And good old, Barack, America's hope for the future. I just wish he really was more of a liberal. I wish he really did support renewable energies. I wish he hadn't voted present so many times in Illinois government. I really wish he was truly supportive of the rights of sexual minorities. I wish he was as much about changing the status quo as he says he is.

That said, I think I am leaning towards Barack . . . for today anyway.

(apologies for the excessive use of . . . but I am stuck in the house still after two days, jacked up on caffeine, and going stir crazy.)
