He hates black people.

That is what a little boy told me today, that his mom wouldn't vote for Obama because her boyfriend hates black people.

He said he knew it was wrong; he knew it was sad. I know his mom. This sort of surprised me, but then .... it didn't.

Sadly, this isn't the first person I have come across that won't be voting for Obama because of his race. I suspect that there are more.

Talk about this with people. Try and reach them.

I am glad to know there are people like Richard Trumka talking about this issue head on. Racism IS a factor in the election.

We have two weeks left to make it less of a factor.



sigh.
