Sunflower and Bee Drawings, a Thank you to my Mother

It is cold outside, but I still have all those sunflower photos from the summer past to keep me warm and busy inside the house.

My mom and I took a pen and ink class on Sunday, and both chose sunflowers for our drawings.

The Sunflower drawing on the top was drawn by my mother.

Her many talents floor me.

The drawing on the bottom is mine.

I am so thankful to my mother for encouraging me and teaching me, above all always having faith in my efforts.

Thank you Mother, for everything.

Everything.

P.S. Even all these years later, my friends still think you are super cool ;)

I originally googled names in grateful dead songs, because I'm expecting, and your page was one of the links. And I haven't been able to stop. You're and amazing writer. I was reading a post about Rothbery Fest and you said Phil was closest to the Dead you could get. There was a Dead reunion show at Penn State University for an Obama fund raiser. It was fucking amazing (sorry no other word could describe it) I was disappointed though that they weren't really making any effort at all to be green. Trash was everywhere and though I did my best to pick up after others, I can't stand littering, it did get tiresome. I'm sorry this is so long and I'm probably rambling, I just wanted to let you know I love your writing and all the tips you post and thank you for them. Hope you have a grateful day!
