A great weekend, a great 8 years, and a great week to come. ahh. sweetness.

Just a little Monday morning update to help me procrastinate! (with pictures)

I am sitting here coming down from a fabulous weekend dancing with friends to the musical stylings of
Bawn in the Mash and Mr. Blotto at our local art museum.

We had such a nice time visiting with friends and enjoying this music, despite the heavy heat of the day.
It may have been a hot day, but when the sun went down, it was nothing but music on our minds!

If it's really hot where you are too, maybe have some frozen strawberries to cool you down? Worked for us.
Best thing we brought with us to the concert.

We got the second Sunflower bloom of the season this weekend, and many more are soon to make an appearance.
This is of course, quite exciting to me. Such an easy thing to love.

The other fun part of the weekend was washing out the silks I have been hand dying with some fabulous women at a fibers workshop. I love working with these ladies and can't wait until we can get together again! I think joining the fibers group at my local art museum has been one of the more intelligent things I have done 2009.
It is great to learn with others, and just glean off of the wisdom of other women in general.

And what with all that excitement, will I do with my time today?
Get ready for my 8th wedding anniversary tomorrow
and pack for Rothbury Festival of course!

Life is good. Life is very good.
