--- you'll be a Man my son!

I became the mother of a teenage boy last month, and the use of the words "young man" have been creeping up more and more often. The man he is becoming just makes me so proud, and it feels good to know it.

We have been talking about Rudyard Kipling around here lately, so I thought it was a good time to give him a nice copy of Kipling's "If" . . . a poem I love.

It is tacked on his wall, and I hope he stops to read it time to time.
