Revisiting the 5 Contemplations Meme

So, here I am blogging again right? But what am I supposed to blog about? How can I make this blog useful to me and not just a time suck, but also potentially interesting to anyone who happens along?

And then it occurs to me...5 contemplations... an old blog meme I did back in the day.

So here goes nuttin. 5 things on my mind today:

  1. Human Rights Education for Early Childhood Education: What is Human Rights Education? Why do we have a responsibility to integrate it into our practice? How is it already a part of what we do? And, finally how do we ensure that the Human Rights Education practices we use and advocate for are developmentally appropriate and responsive to young children's needs?
  2. I am going to Kenya in a little over a month!!!!
  3. Today is my beautiful niece's birthday. Happy birthday sweet girl.
  4. Time management skills: how to get on top of that GIANT to do list.
  5. Summer: Can I afford another trip if I am going to Kenya in the Spring? and if I can, do take my boy to California for the High Sierra Music festival or do I try and manage Gathering of the Vibes (much better line up) in Connecticut sans the boy?
(5 1/2 : I'm sorry I didn't do the dishes before I left the house).
