Checking in the Mile Project

I am putting a temporary hold on The Mile Project.

It feels a bit disheartening because one of my original goals was to create a long term sustainable work out that would test the span of time. I was hoping not to wimp out when it got a little bit cold. Actually right now is great weather for working out, but I am still using that as excuse. The weather is unpredictable enough anyway.

Maybe I will pull the Mile Project back out when Spring hits.

I have shown a lot of fitness improvements in the last 6 months. I didn't lose a god damn pound, but I ran a ten minute mile. I went for a 5 mile walk. I did not one, but FOUR push ups yesterday. I managed to pull of working out 3 to 4 times a week for longer than I ever had before.

I am not chucking exercise totally, but I am going to not make it a key focus of my life right now.

I am going to make peace with the hibernating me, the artist me, and the church obsessed me. I am going to focus on enjoying the family and the friends and the holidays and whatever the hell else I feel like enjoying.

And I may even go running some.
