Coming Down From a Cave Communion

(slideshow from cave in rock state park)

This weekend provided a wonderful, albeit brief, respite from the harsh winter weather. We had the opportunity to commune with nature, breathe fresh warm air, spend time together, hold hands, walk, run, and treasure the rivers and caves of Illinois.

Now however, it is Monday again and I am in a mad rush to complete many projects, including working on that ever present goal of enjoying parenting. (not to mention actually showering!) Today is Kasmir Pulaski Day here in Illinois, so I have the big boy home from school. We have much to do, but I also have many thoughts rushing through my head anxious to get down on paper or blog- so you may see me again. I hope everyone is enjoying today!
