Two More Sunflowers

Happy Monday! Happy February!

Looks like it is going to be another busy week, but I hope it doesn't keep me from working on my sunflowers. It is good to be busy.

After I painted the tall sunflower (top image), I really thought I might be done with the sunflowers altogether and ready to move on. But lo and behold, a few days later and the sunflowers have inspired me again. Funny how inspiration works that way.

I finished the bottom one in anticipation of the Rum Runner's Reunion show on Saturday morning, with two more acrylics in the works.

Music must be my muse, as I always seem to finish up some art on the day of a show.
