I have been glued to Democracy Now!'s Coverage of the climate talks in Copenhagen for the last week. I highly suggest tuning in. I have learned a lot in the last few days.
Today, I heard a bit from Desmond Tutu- a man who has truly earned a Nobel Peace Prize for his relentless work for peace throughout his entire life, a man who inspires me to no end, even if he is a little silly sometimes.
I am going by memory on this, surely to mess it up, but I think he said in a brief interview clip on Obama, "You are now a Nobel Laureate - Now become What You Are." I agree. I haven't yet given up hope, but President Obama- I agree. Become what you are.
So, while I rush around trying to get to the gym (or not) this morning- I hope someone out there enjoys a little bit of some of the hope still happening at Copenhagen. Here is Desmond Tutu, like I said- a little silly but full of love for the world.
