Solstice Night, and the Day After

Every year that I celebrate the gifts of the solstice, I celebrate them more deeply.

I learn more, grow more, and become more connected to the world in which I live.

We enjoy the longest night of the year spent together,
in the light of eachothers company, and for that, I am most grateful.

Today, the day after the solstice,

we said thank you and hello to the little critters in our neighborhood

with too stale cookies and bird feeders made with love from friends who care.

Like so many, our lives are in a period of quiet readjustment right now,

keeping this blog a little quieter as well. But, all is well and for that too I am grateful.

Blessed Be to each of you and peace in abundance during this sweet midwinter of our lives.
