I'm afraid of Cancer.

I am afraid of dying too early.

I am afraid of my husband dying too early, because we have planned on living a long long life together.

We have twice as many life plans as anyone I have ever had a conversation with.

We plan to write books, lots of books. Some together, some separately.

We plan to live in a large city, but argue about which one. I say I want to live mostly in a year round warm climate; he agrees. But I say I want to live in New York for at least a short period of time. He has no interest in living in New York.

We plan to travel all over the world, but argue about where to go first.

We want to live and work in Africa, particularly Zambia at the current time.

We want to start a non profit organization that does Human Rights Educations in schools and other settings.

We want to be old, but still be in awesome physical condition.

We want to break into politics.

We want to make our own rules.

We want to attend four college graduations. We want to see our children succeed and make a life for themselves. We want to see them be happy and living their lives with great intention.

We want to hike trails we have never hiked before.

We want to not have a car.

We want to eat every meal in a restaurant, and sustain on cereal and cheese at home.

We want to have time to really talk everyday.

We want something new everyday.

Whats scary is the fear that we won't make these things happen. That life will just slip by while we take long years of it for granted.

It takes great restraint for me to NOT take life by the horns.

That is the kind of person I am; and it usually serves me well. But much of the time, it keeps me from just slowing down enough to enjoy the things I am doing.

To live for the moment now.
